A team working with repeated document questions, large amounts of text or a knowledge base that is difficult to search. AI is useful to explore when inputs vary and a simple rule is insufficient. A deterministic search or validation rule may be more appropriate when exact repeatable behaviour is required.

What a first demo can show
An AI demo can test a small set of representative sample documents and questions. Review both successful responses and difficult cases, such as missing information or inconsistent input formats. The result helps assess the approach; it does not establish accuracy on every future document.

What to agree before production
Retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) provides selected source material to a model when answering a question. It can help ground answers, but does not guarantee correctness. Production planning should cover document permissions, provider data handling, evaluation, usage costs and human review of consequential outputs.
