MVP and prototype development in Ireland

When mvp and prototype development is useful

ACCER IT helps startups and businesses test software ideas with a proof of concept, prototype or minimum viable product (MVP). We focus the first version on the question you need to answer before investing in a larger build.

A founder who needs to test a product workflow, or an established business exploring a new service or internal tool. Start by naming the uncertain assumption: whether people understand the experience, whether an integration is feasible or whether a workflow solves a useful problem.

What we can build

Proof of concept

A limited technical experiment to test whether a difficult part of the proposed approach can work.

Interactive prototype

A clickable experience for reviewing screens and workflows. It may use simulated data and simplified behaviour.

Scoped MVP

A small product version centred on a core use case. Use with real customers requires explicit production requirements and a separate agreement.

What to clarify before building

  • Who is the first user, and what problem do they need solved?
  • What assumption should the first version test?
  • What would count as useful feedback or a successful trial?
  • Which features are essential to that test, and which can wait?

Use our software project brief guide to turn these answers into a short enquiry.

What a first demo can show

The demo-first approach fits a contained workflow that can be evaluated with sample data. We review suitability and agree the demo's limits before building. There is no upfront development fee for most suitable projects and no obligation to continue; third-party costs are not included by default.

We assess every request first. An accepted demo has a limited scope and uses simulated or test data by default. Third-party costs are not included by default. Read the full demo conditions.

What to agree before production

Keep the prototype, customer trial and production release distinct. A screen that works in a demo does not prove reliability, demand or operational readiness. After reviewing the result, decide whether to revise the idea, run a controlled trial or agree the security, data, support and delivery work needed for launch.

MVP and prototype development questions

What is the difference between a prototype and an MVP?

A prototype explores an experience or technical approach and may simulate behaviour. An MVP delivers a limited core use case for learning from users. Any use with live customer data needs agreed production safeguards.

Do I need a technical specification to start?

No. Describe the intended user, the problem and one important workflow. A sketch or an existing product reference can help explain the idea without requiring a technical specification.

Is every MVP eligible for a free demo?

No. We first assess scope and suitability. An accepted initial demo is deliberately limited and is not a commitment to deliver a complete product without payment.

Describe the problem you want to solve

A few sentences are enough to start. We review scope and demo suitability before proposing the next step.
